Companion CAMP (Canine Activities & Meaningful Playtime)

“A tired dog is a good dog.” Keeping your dog mentally and physically stimulated reduces problem behaviors and induces relaxation at the end of the day. Dogs thrive in our daily structured environment that is custom ‘tail’ored for them.

Companion CAMP is our unique and highly specialized program designed exclusively for those dogs 7 months and older, who need exercise but aren’t comfortable or able to enroll in regular daycare. This might include dogs who are not yet spayed or neutered, dogs who would prefer to play in smaller play groups, or dogs who would simply rather play with people than with other dogs. Every day is different and custom planned for each dog. Activities include nature walks, canine puzzle solving, fetch, tug, and “find it” games, and even tricks, all while reinforcing basic commands. Each dog is evaluated as an individual to create a custom play and social plan.

What is required before you come in:

Vaccinations

  • Bordetella

  • Rabies

  • DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, and Leptospirosis)

  • Negative fecal (Test for Giardia and Parasites) exams are required 2 times a year

  • Puppies must have their first two rounds of shots

Your dog must be current on all of its vaccinations, be free of any communicable diseases, and have a negative fecal exam before the dog stays at Jax Dog Drop. Preventative flea & tick medication needs to be regularly given to the dog per the medications dosage directions, fecal exams are required every 6 months, and vaccines must remain current per your veterinarian records for the dog to continue to stay at Jax Dog Drop. Jax Dog Drop tracks the vaccine due dates of all of our dogs and will remind you when they are coming due.

Current veterinarian records that show immunization shots and a negative fecal exam are required before any dog is allowed to stay at Jax Dog Drop.

Dogs must be in good health
