A former veterinary assistant, Marlene has always been attracted to dogs, regardless of the consequences: as a child, she was bitten many times. Not one to take such affronts lying down, Marlene took up martial arts. Although we usually reserve bill collecting for
Faith, our resident Yorkie, you should know that Marlene now holds the coveted black belt in karate. And we’re not afraid to use it.
Marlene shares her life with Austin, her Rescue Blend puppy, and three fearless
felines - Baxter, Sammy, and 20 year old "protection" cat, named Oliver.
