Julie Westcoat
Trainer, Canine Coach

Julie has always had a life long desire to work with animals. During her childhood, she came to the aid of a variety of injured and ill animals, only to be heartbroken many times when her love could not heal them. She did, however, have some successes - for example, raising an orphan baby rooster chick (he slept in her slipper next to her bed) - and she eventually grew up to pursue a 30-year career in health care. After graduating from the Animal Behavior College, Julie joined Riverdog as a C.A.M.P. Counselor, and patiently worked her way through Apprentice Program into training. She now uses love and knowledge to cure all dogs of the terrible malady of being untrained, and to work with her own pets: Lola, a Yellow Labrador; Sara, a Pomeranian, and two domestic shorthairs named Molly and Emily.
