When former social worker and stay-at-home-mom Sue recently became an empty-nester, she did what any good stray (er….parent) would do – followed her heart to a safe, comfortable doorstep. Happily, she ended up on ours and frankly, we couldn’t wait to let her in. Seriously, the woman is good. Sue can make a pet out of anything she can catch – snakes, frogs, turtles….even fireflies. Particularly adept with shy and timid animals, she has quite a way with squirrels, and is pretty darn good with dogs, too. Susan adores her husband, kids, and pine-cone-eating Golden Retriever, Ruby.
