Perhaps you are experiencing a specific problem with your pet, or you simply aren’t quite sure of the best way to start your work with us. Then a Behavior Evaluation is just the right way to get started. It's not an evaluation of you, but rather your pet and the factors contributing to your current situation. It's not a sales pitch and we don't charge you for our time. No matter the circumstance, you won't be judged, ridiculed, admonished, or embarrassed. You'll simply have an opportunity to come to a safe place and talk about how to make your life with your dog better.
At your appointment time, one of our experienced Trainers will happily meet privately with you and your pet. The entire family is encouraged to come. We will dedicate a full hour to listen to your situation, discuss your dog’s history with you, and help recommend a strategy going forward. Often, we can make a few suggestions that you can take with you that resolves the situation completely. In other, more complex circumstances, we may suggest services at Riverdog that can help you, or may refer you to other experts in our industry. Either way, our goal is that at the end of the evaluation you come away with clarity, encouragement, and a positive, doable plan.
Simply call or email us to set up an appointment. Behavior Evaluations are free of charge, and usually last 45-60 minutes. We offer Behavior Evaluations Tuesday through Friday, from 10am – 5 pm.
